Mapped: Every country's most searched for supercar revealed

Brought to you by comparison experts, Quidco Compare.

Many of us would love the opportunity to drive some of the most powerful cars in the world. Whether you fancy yourself as 007 in an Aston Martin DB10 or want to channel your inner billionaire-playboy-philanthropist Tony Stark in an Audi R8, we can all agree that these cars are out of reach for most of us.

But that doesn't stop us dreaming (or Googling, it seems). So we decided to find out exactly what the most lusted after supercar in the world is, using Google search data. So, did your favourite make the list?

Worldwide: The Lamborghini Urus is the most lusted after supercar in the world, with over 6.9 million searches annually

The Lamborghini Urus has officially been named as the world’s most longed-for supercar, with 6.943 million searches every year. Released in 2018, the luxury crossover SUV may be lighter than many of its competitors, but it is one of the fastest production SUVs and has the largest set of carbon ceramic disc brakes. It also offers good value for money, coming in 40th in our list when it comes to price, with a starting price tag of €218,000 (£197,897, $257,596 USD).

The USA is the biggest fan of the Lamborghini Urus, with 1 million searches! But it is also the most Googled car in many corners of the world.

Second on the list is the Mclaren 720s, with over 2.1 million annual searches. Released in 2017, the car is a true super power, complete with dihedral doors, twin-turbocharged V8 engine and a top speed of 212 mph. Coming with a heftier price tag than the Urus, the Mclaren starts at €301,000 (£273,138, $355,672 USD).

Completing the podium is Bugatti Divo. Just over 1.1 million annual searches are made for the 2019 supercar. Not bad for a car which has a limited production of 40. However it does boast a top speed of 236 mph and a price of €5,000,000 (£4,536,453, $5,911,475USD) – making it the most expensive car on our list. However much cheaper than its sister car, the Bugatti La Voiture Noire, which is the most expensive car in the world, with a $18.68m USD.

Despite being second on our list, the Mclaren 720s fails to take the top spot in any country, however Bugatti Divo does pip some of its competitors in Brazil, Uruguay and many others.
